About
Out Lounge & Eatery is Durham region's first and only inclusive gay venue, that offers restaurant, nightclub, entertainment and special events.
Description
Out Lounge & Eatery is the manifestation of owners Diane Cassidy and Kim Etherington. As active members of the LGBTQ community, they dreamed of a place where the community could openly eat, meet and play. Out Lounge & Eatery was born from this dream.

Out Lounge & Eatery in located on the north/west corner of King and Stevenson (Oshawa/Whitby border). We feel the community is ready for a venue that is OUT. We offer lunch and dinner services every day as well as private bookings for special events. Nightly, you’ll enjoy dancing, entertainment, pool and darts, as well as our outdoor patio.

This is a venue for the LGBTQ community and their supporters. As such, we want to hear from you as we plan our opening, menu and entertainment. Tell us what you want. We are a diverse community and we want to recognize this by including you in the planning of Out Lounge & Eatery. We'll also be posting job opportunities to the LGBTQ community first.

So have your say! Post your desires on the wall. We’ll provide frequent updates on the renovations, menu and everything else we do to prepare for the grand opening in early fall.

 Tuesday Jan. 24th Date Night and Single Mingle.

Come with a Date and enjoy shared appetizer, two entrees and shared dessert for $30/couple 

Single Mingle starts at 7PM.  This is a fun casual night of get-to-know-you games and an opportunity to meet other singles.  


Wednesday Jan. 25th Rainbow Book Club, ½ Price Appetizers & Pool Tourney

This is our first meeting of the Rainbow Book Club.  This group will meet monthly to discuss books that deal with the LGBTQ experience.   Everyone welcome and bring your book suggestions for our first meeting.  Every Wednesday is ½ appetizers and Pool Tourney.  Skill is not relevant.  Trust me, I played one week, so anyone can play.

Karaoke with Chalaine, ½ Price Wings, $2 Half Pints


Friday, Jan. 27th ABC (Anything But Clothes) Party
Wear anything but clothes, don’t forget to cover the naughty bits.  $4 bar rail/domestic beer, $5 Pints, $6 Martinis before 11 PM. NO COVER .  Prizes for the best outfit.

Saturday, Jan. 28th, Angry Server Night 6 – 9 PM 
Reservation Required.   


Saturday Jan. 28th, Dance Party 9PM – 2:30 AM – NO COVER 

Sunday, Jan. 29th Industry Night 6 – 11 PM
